Art crafted through metal.  Beautiful handcrafted designs, sketched and transposed onto metal through embossing and debossing techniques. Whether on Rich Aged Pewter, Warm Copper Patina or Crisp Sheen Aluminum, the designs are all hand designed and crafted.  The embossed images are backed with epoxy to hold its shape then aged with a chemical patina to enhance the design.  Some pieces are also hand painted or tinted before being mounted on stained wood panels, ready to hang.

A lifelong world traveller and artist. I was influenced by the many cultures I experienced while living in Europe and Asia.   I've currently settled in a beautiful California coastal town, loving life by the sea and the wonderful artist community here.  While dabbling in many artforms, I knew that I'd found my perfect expression when I discovered working in embossing and repousse.  At Dee/Piction Studio, this is my art, the way I see it.  I hope you enjoy.
